Senior Security Engineer / Security Team Lead

We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Senior Security Engineer / Security Team Lead to join our team in Giza, Egypt.

This is an on-site opportunity for a technically strong security leader who can drive security initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and help build a more mature and effective enterprise security environment.This role is ideal for someone who combines strong practical experience in enterprise security engineering with leadership capability, sound judgment, and the ability to work across multiple security domains.

The selected candidate will play a key role in securing infrastructure, improving visibility, reducing risk, and guiding junior team members in areas such as endpoint security, pentesting support, and compliance-related activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and train junior security engineers, helping build a stronger and more capable internal security teamDesign, implement, manage, and improve enterprise security controls across network, endpoint, server, identity, data, and monitoring layersSecure and support enterprise infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, remote access technologies, and segmentation controlsManage and improve technologies related to network security, endpoint and workload protection, vulnerability management, data security, identity and access control, and threat monitoringReview and strengthen security configurations, policies, access controls, hardening baselines, and operational practicesSupport vulnerability management activities including scanning, validation, prioritization, reporting, and remediation follow-upConduct and supervise hardening activities for servers, endpoints, and network devices in line with security best practicesSupport security monitoring, SIEM use cases, SOC processes, XDR visibility, alert tuning, and incident investigation activitiesParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, containment support, and post-incident improvementSupport implementation of security controls aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSSAssist in audit readiness, evidence preparation, remediation planning, and technical control validationDevelop and maintain security documentation, implementation guides, procedures, standards, and technical reportsCollaborate with infrastructure, IT, engineering, and application teams to integrate security into daily operations and project delivery

Skills & TechnologiesThis role requires strong knowledge of enterprise security engineering and the ability to work across multiple layers of security architecture and operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in several of the following areas:Network security and firewall administrationEndpoint and workload protectionVulnerability management and remediation follow-upSecurity hardening for servers, endpoints, and network devicesSIEM, SOC, XDR, and security monitoring conceptsIdentity and access management, including MFAData security controls, encryption concepts, and access monitoringIncident detection, investigation, and response supportSecurity policy implementation and operational best practicesEnterprise infrastructure security, including routers, switches, VPNs, and remote access controlsCompliance alignment with standards such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001Vendor-specific experience may be considered an advantage, but the role is primarily focused on strong enterprise security knowledge, sound engineering practices, and the ability to apply security controls effectively in real-world environments.
