We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Manager with strong knowledge of Saudi tax regulations to lead and manage all tax-related matters.

The role will focus on ensuring compliance with ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) requirements, managing corporate tax and VAT obligations, and providing strategic tax planning advice.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Saudi tax filings, audits, and regulatory coordination, along with the ability to support business growth through effective tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance and Reporting

Oversee preparation and submission of:

  • Corporate Income Tax returns
  • Zakat filings
  • VAT returns and related reporting
  • Withholding Tax (WHT) filings
  • Ensure compliance with regulations issued by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.
  • Review tax provisions and disclosures in financial statements in line with IFRS and Saudi regulations.
  • Maintain accurate tax reco

rds and documentation.

Tax Planning and Advisory

Develop tax-efficient structures in line with Saudi laws and business objectives.

  • Advise management on tax implications of:
  • Business expansion
  • Investments
  • Mergers and restructuring
  • Identify opportunities for tax optimization while ensuring compliance.
  • Monitor updates in Saudi tax laws, including Corporate Tax and VAT c

hanges.

ZATCA Audits and Regulatory Coordination

Manage tax audits, assessments, and inquiries from ZATCA.

  • Prepare responses to tax notices and handle dispute resolution processes.
  • Ensure readiness for VAT and Zakat inspections.
  • Liaise with government portals (e.g., ZATCA portal) for filings and commun

ications.

Transfer Pricing and International Tax

Ensure compliance with Saudi transfer pricing regulations.

  • Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local File).
  • Support intercompany transactions and cross-border tax matters.
  • Ensure alignment with OECD guidelines and Saud

i requirements.

Withholding Tax and Indirect Tax

Manage withholding tax obligations on cross-border payments.

  • Provide advisory on VAT treatment for transactions.
  • Ensure proper VAT classification and reporting across b

usiness activities.

Risk Management and Controls

Identify tax risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Establish internal controls for tax processes and compliance.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all tax positions t

aken.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management

Lead and mentor the tax team.

  • Coordinate with finance, legal, and external advisors.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tax-related m

atters internally and externally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.

  • Professional qualification preferred (SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 6–10 years of tax experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in Saudi tax regulations, including:
  • Zakat
  • Corporate Income Tax
  • VAT
  • Withholding Tax
  • Hands-on experience dealing with ZATCA audits and filings.
  • Familiarity with Saudi e-invoicing (FATOORA).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS a

nd financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a Big Four firm or multinational company.

  • Experience working with foreign-owned entities in Saudi Arabia.
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing documentation and compliance in KSA.
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle,

etc.).
