Warehouse Manager

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, warehousing, picking/packing, shipping).Ensure inventory is accurate through regular cycle counts and root-cause investigation of discrepancies.Manage stock movement and storage practices to optimize space and workflow.Coordinate order fulfillment to meet service levels and shipping deadlines.Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff; ensure performance targets are met.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and safe working procedures.Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes.Control inventory levels, prevent stock loss/damage, and maintain proper product handling.Track and improve warehouse KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, pick/pack speed, dock-to-stock time).Manage warehouse equipment and maintenance schedules (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners).Liaise with purchasing, sales, and customer service regarding stock availability and logistics issues.Receive and process inbound shipments; verify quantities and document discrepancies.Handle returns, damaged goods, and inventory adjustments according to company policy.Ensure proper labeling, barcoding (if applicable), and documentation for shipments.Prepare reports for management and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.Manage relationships with logistics providers, freight carriers, and third-party warehouses (if applicable).

Proven experience in warehouse operations and team leadership (supervisory experience preferred).Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse workflows.Ability to interpret reports, analyze data, and improve processes.Familiarity with warehouse systems/ERP (Odoo).Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally.Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
