Sourcing & Import Specialist

We’re looking for a commercially minded and organized Sourcing & Import Specialist to manage the full product sourcing and import cycle.This role is not only about shipping and customs.You will help find winning products, analyze suppliers, calculate profitability, manage replenishment, and make sure products reach the store on time, with the right cost, quality, and compliance.You will work closely with Product, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and external suppliers to support business growth and product launches.What You’ll Be Doing:Product Sourcing and Supplier ManagementSearch for winning products in target markets, including China, Turkey, Alibaba, and other digital sourcing platformsAnalyze suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, lead time, and commercial termsNegotiate with international suppliers to secure the best prices and payment termsManage supplier communication from sourcing to final deliveryProfitability and Cost AnalysisCalculate full landed cost before purchase, including product cost, shipping, customs, clearance, duties, storage, and other related expensesSupport pricing decisions by ensuring healthy profit margins before importingCompare estimated landed cost with actual cost after shipment arrivalPrepare cost and profitability reports for managementImport OperationsManage the full import cycle from sourcing to shipping, customs clearance, and final deliveryCoordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clearance agentsTrack shipments and solve delays or operational issuesEnsure all import documents are accurate and completeHandle Letters of Credit when neededProduct Launch SupportManage fast sample requests from suppliersCoordinate sample delivery to the studioProvide product specifications, technical details, supplier images, and product data to the Marketing and Content teamsSupport fast product launch from sourcing to online listingInventory ReplenishmentMonitor product sales velocity and stock availabilityIssue replenishment requests at the right time to avoid stockoutsCoordinate with internal teams to maintain high availability of winning productsSupport demand planning based on product performance and lead timeCompliance and QualityCoordinate with quality labs such as SGS when neededManage Saber certification requirements for KSA importsEnsure products meet quality, safety, and compliance standards before shipmentFollow up on inspection, testing, and certification documentsReporting and Cross-Functional WorkCollaborate with Product, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Warehouse teamsPrepare reports on sourcing activity, shipment status, landed cost, supplier performance, and stock availabilityIdentify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

2 to 4 years of experience in sourcing, import, logistics, supply chain, or procurementStrong understanding of import operations and customs proceduresExperience sourcing from international suppliersExperience using Alibaba or similar sourcing platformsGood understanding of landed cost calculationStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsFamiliarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar systemsStrong Excel and reporting skillsAbility to manage multiple shipments and priorities under pressureGood English communication skillsNice to HaveExperience in e-commercePrevious importing experience from Turkey or ChinaKSA import experienceKnowledge of Saber requirementsExperience coordinating with SGS or similar quality labsKnowledge of IncotermsExperience with LC handlingExperience in home, furniture, hospitality, or lifestyle products
