Site Civil Engineer

A leading construction company is seeking to hire a Site Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in construction sites to supervise project execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise all on-site execution activities related to reinforced concrete works (foundations, columns, beams, slabs).

Read and interpret structural and shop drawings and apply them accurately on site.

Inspect formwork and reinforcement works before and during casting to ensure compliance.

Ensure adherence to technical specifications, building codes, and required quality standards.

Coordinate with subcontractors and labor to ensure work progresses according to the daily plan.

Monitor concrete casting activities, including: Proper vibration Leveling Post-casting curing Inspect and approve materials used on site and ensure their quality.

Prepare daily reports on work progress and completion percentages.

Perform quantity take-offs and follow up on BOQ items when required.

Implement health and safety procedures on site.

Coordinate with the consultant during inspections and approvals.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project execution.

Good experience in reinforced concrete works.

Ability to accurately read and interpret shop drawings.

Good knowledge of formwork, reinforcement, and concrete casting processes.

Strong organizational and site management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Preferred Skills:Experience in residential or commercial projects.

Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
