A Senior Accountant in the tourism sector manages specialized financial operations for travel agencies, including IATA/BSP reconciliation, ticketing, supplier payments, and GDS (Amadeus/Galileo) transactions.

They ensure compliance, handle tax requirements, and prepare financial reports to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:Airline Accounting: Handling tickets, refunds, and ADM/ACM (Agency Debit/Credit Memos).Supplier & GDS Reconciliation: Reconciling transactions with airlines, hotel suppliers, and GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo).Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Accounting Software (ERP systems).

Experience: Typically 3-7 years in tourism/travel accounting.
