Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and continuous enhancement of our HR & Attendance Management System.The selected candidate will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing its lifecycle, and ensuring seamless integration with payroll, leave management, end-of-service calculations, biometric devices, and governmental wage protection systems (WPS/SIF where applicable).This role requires a strong understanding of HR operations, labor law compliance, payroll cycles, and agile product execution within a B2B environment.⸻ Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Product Vision & Strategy

  • Define and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for the HR & Attendance system.
  • Lead the development of features related to attendance tracking, shift management, leave management, payroll inputs, overtime, and end-of-service calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.2️⃣ B2B Client Requirement Analysis
  • Engage directly with HR, Finance, and IT departments of client organizations.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements (attendance policies, overtime rules, deductions, device integrations).
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.3️⃣ Backlog Ownership & Prioritization
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Balance client demands, product enhancements, and compliance requirements to maximize value delivery.4️⃣ Integrations & System Connectivity
  • Oversee integration with:
  • Biometric attendance devices
  • Payroll systems
  • ERP platforms
  • Wage Protection Systems (WPS/SIF where applicable)
  • Ensure stable synchronization and accurate data mapping across systems.5️⃣ System Performance & Stability
  • Monitor system performance and database reliability.
  • Analyze recurring client issues and implement long-term improvements.
  • Ensure payroll-related calculations and attendance reports are accurate and reliable.6️⃣ User Experience & Adoption
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance HR user experience.
  • Simplify dashboards, workflows, and reporting structures.
  • Support UAT sessions and client training initiatives.7️⃣ Compliance & Data Security
  • Ensure employee data protection and confidentiality.
  • Maintain adherence to internal security standards and access control policies.
  • Review and optimize role-based access permissions.8️⃣ Reporting & Analytics
  • Provide periodic performance and product usage reports.
  • Analyze system data to support strategic product decisions.
  • Track KPIs related to system adoption, errors, and client satisfaction.

  • Practical experience in:
  • Attendance & Time Tracking Systems
  • Leave Management
  • Payroll inputs and overtime calculations
  • End-of-Service (EOS) processes
  • Strong understanding of payroll cycles and HR operational workflows.✔ Technical Understanding
  • Experience with biometric device integration.
  • Knowledge of APIs and ERP integrations.
  • Familiarity with SaaS-based systems is a plus.✔ Analytical & Operational Skills
  • Strong data analysis and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to understand and optimize complex HR workflows.✔ Communication & Client Management
  • Experience dealing directly with corporate clients (B2B).
  • Ability to lead requirement gathering sessions and UAT meetings.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.⸻Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as:
  • Product Owner
  • Business Analyst
  • HR System Consultant
  • Agile/Scrum certifications are preferred.
