Production Planner ( Plastics Industry Only )

Job Title: Production PlannerLocation: LibyaIndustry: Plastics Manufacturing only A leading plastics manufacturing company is looking for a Production Planner to manage and enhance production planning activities, ensuring efficient scheduling, optimal resource utilization, and alignment between demand and manufacturing operations.The role includes developing and improving planning processes, strengthening coordination across departments, and establishing structured planning practices within the factory.

Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales demand and priorities.Develop and improve production planning processes, tools, and workflows.Coordinate closely with sales, procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure alignment.Monitor raw material availability and ensure production continuity.Optimize machine capacity utilization and production efficiency.Track production progress and adjust plans based on operational changes and constraints.Establish and maintain planning reports, KPIs, and tracking systems.Ensure accurate data management within the ERP system.Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements in planning and coordination.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.3-8 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.Experience in plastics manufacturing industry requiredStrong understanding of capacity planning, inventory flow, and production operations.Proven ability to improve or develop planning processes.Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).Advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
