Key Account Manager (KAM)

Manage and oversee the company’s business with chain pharmacies within the assigned territory .Develop and implement annual and quarterly business plans for assigned key accounts to achieve sales and growth targets.Build and maintain strong, long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers, including owners, senior management, and branch managers.Deliver sales targets, market share growth, and distribution expansion across all assigned accounts.Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, trade terms, promotions, product listings, and in-store visibility agreements.Ensure optimal product availability, shelf presence, and execution excellence across pharmacy chains.Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans.Continuously monitor account performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement corrective action plans when needed.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support data-driven decision-making.Manage accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and ensure compliance with company credit policies.Prepare and present regular reports covering sales performance, forecasts, account status, and key business insights.
Strong existing relationships with major pharmacy chains is a must.Proven experience in Key Account Management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or FMCG sectors.Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Veterinary Medicine.Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in reporting and data analysis tools.High level of business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
