Junior Automation QA Engineer

Responsibilities:Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using various testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etcCollaborate with the QA and development teams to understand project requirements and define an automation testing strategyExecute automated test suites regularly as part of the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processMonitor test results, analyze failures, and report defects to the development teamMaintain and update automated test scripts to keep them in sync with the application changesIncorporate automated tests into the continuous integration process to ensure that new changes do not introduce regression issuesDocument and track defects found during testing using bug tracking toolsManage and create test data necessary for automated test execution.

What we expect from you:At least 1 year of hands-on experience with one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, or C#Basic understanding of automated testing concepts and toolsUnderstanding of Agile methodology and software development principlesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEnglish skills at the upper-intermediate or higher levelExperience in working with bug-tracking systems and version control systems Will be a plus:Knowledge of testing frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver.

Playwright or AppiumUnderstanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processesExperience working in distributed teamsFoundational understanding of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including their application in automated test generation and defect analysis.Proficiency in Prompt Engineering, specifically for creating test cases, generating synthetic test data, and refining automated scripts.Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and plugins, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude code, to accelerate development cycles.
