Head of Engineering Department (Part-Time)

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Engineer (Civil or Architect) to lead our Engineering Department.

This role is ideally suited for a retired professional looking to leverage their extensive expertise in a flexible, part-time capacity.

Experience: Minimum 20+ years of proven experience in Civil Engineering or Architecture, specifically within the Real Estate or Construction sectors.Background: Retired professional with a strong track record in managing large-scale residential or commercial projects.Skills: Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and project management skills.Communication: Excellent command of English and professional reporting skills.

Strategic Oversight: Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring all projects align with company standards and real estate investment goals.Design & Technical Review: Review and approve architectural designs, structural plans, and shop drawings to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.Project Supervision: Monitor construction progress, manage technical risks, and provide expert guidance to site teams.Policy & Process Development: Establish and refine engineering procedures and quality control standards.Mentorship: Share decades of industry knowledge to mentor junior staff and optimize team performance.
