Cloud Engineer - Azure (Professional Services)

The Cloud Engineer

• Azure (L2) is responsible for delivering Azure-based Professional Services with a focus on cloud migration, landing zone deployment, hybrid networking, and optimization initiatives.

This role requires hands-on experience in real customer environments, supporting end-to-end Azure implementations and ensuring successful delivery across migration and transformation projects.

Responsibilities:Migration & ModernizationExecute workload migration projects including:On-premises (VMware / Hyper-V) to AzureAzure to Azure migrationsOther cloud platforms to AzurePerform Azure Migrate assessments, including right-sizing and cost analysisPlan and execute migration and DR scenarios using Azure Site Recovery (ASR)Azure Platform DeploymentDesign and deploy Azure Landing Zones aligned with governance and architecture standardsConduct brownfield assessments of existing environments and recommend optimization strategiesImplement cost optimization measures aligned with Azure best practicesNetworking & ConnectivityDesign and implement hybrid networking solutions including:Site-to-Site VPNPoint-to-Site (P2S)

VPNExpressRoute connectivityConfigure and manage network security appliances (FortiGate or similar)Containerization & Platform ServicesDeploy and manage workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Delivery & SupportWork directly with customers to deliver Professional Services engagementsProvide L2-level troubleshooting and support for Azure environmentsCollaborate with internal teams for solution design and delivery

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft AzureProven experience in customer-facing delivery projectsStrong hands-on experience in:Azure Migrate (Assessment & Migration)Azure Site Recovery (ASR)Azure Landing Zone deploymentMigration scenarios (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure-to-Azure, multi-cloud)Strong knowledge of hybrid networking, including:ExpressRouteSite-to-Site VPNPoint-to-Site VPNExperience in:Brownfield environment assessmentAzure cost optimization practicesHands-on experience with:Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)FortiGate or similar cloud firewall appliances
