The Body & Paint Service Advisor is responsible for receiving customers, inspecting vehicles, identifying body and paint repair requirements, and coordinating between customers and the workshop.

The role ensures high customer satisfaction, accurate estimation, and efficient workflow within the body and paint workshop.

Key Responsibilities:Receive customers and perform initial inspection of vehicles for body and paint issues.Identify required repairs (body, paint, denting, polishing, etc.) accurately.Open job orders and prepare detailed repair estimates based on vehicle condition.Explain repair scope, costs, and timelines to customers clearly.Coordinate between customers and workshop technicians to ensure smooth workflow.Follow up on repair progress and update customers regularly.Ensure quality standards are met before vehicle delivery.Handle customer complaints professionally and provide appropriate solutions.Coordinate with insurance companies and follow up approvals when required.Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all job orders.Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.Set delivery dates and ensure timely handover of vehicles.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.2–5 years of experience in automotive service centers, preferably in body & paint.Strong knowledge of body repair, painting processes, and workshop operations.Experience in preparing repair estimates and job orders.Good communication and customer handling skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.Technical Skills:Knowledge of body repair techniques and paint systems.Familiarity with workshop equipment and tools.Basic knowledge of insurance procedures related to automotive repairs.Proficiency in computer systems and workshop management software.Soft Skills:Communication skillsCustomer service orientationProblem-solvingAttention to detailTime managementTeamwork
